ONE MONTH!
I'd like to start out by apologizing on behalf of your mods for being INCREDIBLY BEHIND on plot-related stuff. We have a big ol' modly To Do list and neither of us are really on top of it. Rest assured, there is a point to those keys, and we're also planning something for Valentines Day.
But the game's been open for a while now, and we're really open to innovation and improvement. We have some of our own ideas, but we would absolutely love to hear from each and every one of you.
So, this is a post for some feedback! What we're looking for is:
- Constructive criticism regarding any issues you've had with the game or the mods so far.
- Advice for modding, or for other players to help stay active and fit in with the game.
- Suggestions, including plot ideas you're not motivated to put in the Plots post, events or memes you'd like to see organized, and any way we can help make the game better.
- Commentary on the current content of
ajar. (Do you think activity should be higher? Do we need to be more specific about what you can/can't do? Is the application too easy/hard? Should we format our tables in a different way? Are the lack of images offputting?)
- Reasons why you're enjoying the game/your characters.
- Reasons why you're not enjoying the game/your characters.
- Adoration for your fellow players. ♥
(Just to clarify, we're not looking for crit of individual players/characters, thankyou.)
You're all from different places around the internet, and I know we'd love to hear your thoughts on anything, even if it's just personal meta about your own characters. If you're seeing this and you're only considering joining the game, we'd also welcome your feedback!
Comments are screened, but we will be unscreening them unless otherwise specified (just throw in "leave screened" or something) so as to facilitate discussion.

But anyway, my first question is: for the 2 posts/4 threads, are those 4 threads potentially contained in those two posts, or is it four threads in addition?
Only-sort-of-related:
For me, posting is like... this terrible block area. Where I go "crap I need to post... but I am distinctly uninteresting... boo." and then from there I spiral down into an unmotivated lump, like a winner |D ANYWAY, that is definitely my problem and not yours, since I agreed to the rules when I apped!
But I was wondering if one could potentially substitute more independent threads for the second post? I know that when I am psyching myself up to play, if I'm worried about having enough time/energy/courage to post, it makes me really disinclined to tag other people's posts which I then feel very guilty about :x
In my mind, the potential problem "there aren't enough posts" is easily solved: somebody posts. The problem "not enough people are playing in those posts" is ...less so. But then, it is entirely possible I am the only person with this problem. ^^a
BLAH BLAH BLAH I am sorry I am so rambly in the moring ^^;;;;

When we were hashing out rules. I actually considered that maybe a certain amount of independent threads would be a good "make-up" for a missed post, but decided that was a very complicated concept to put in the Rules, which we were trying to keep as simple as possible.
But I might talk it over with Jeeps again, because you're right; people post, but those posts generally end up with only one or two people commenting, and that doesn't really inspire people to post more! Personally, I'd rather have a small level of posts with lots of comment threads and interaction than lots of relatively empty posts. Being able to have a whole bunch of threads from commenting around instead of having to man up and post might really increase people's activity.

BUT GETTING TO THE POINT:
The activity rule includes two posts, right? As someone who rarely posts in the game I already play in (out of the ten characters I've played there in the past three years, I think about a third of them I've never actually posted with!), I'm sort of worried about this being a problem if/when I DO get around to getting in here. I'm far more likely to have numerous lengthy threads here and there than I am to have the motivation to post myself, even if the threads contained in said post do count as threads for activity.
